REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY
Overview
Tefco Trailers refunds and returns are valid within 30 days of purchase only. To be eligible for a refund all items must be returned in their original unused condition and in the original packaging as you received it.
Returns for exchange will only be accepted if the item is defective or damaged. Not for change of mind.
Non-refundable items include:
- Perishable goods
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable liquids, or gases.
- Sale items are sold “as is “Sale items cannot be refunded or returned.
- All made-to-order items are not eligible for return or refund unless there is a manufacturing defect or error.
Items purchased from Tefco Trailers need to be returned to Tefco Trailers for a refund, please do not attempt to send your item back to the manufacturer as no refund will be provided.
Before you return any items, please contact us to obtain a reference number. All requests for returns and refunds will require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please ensure all details are sent with items for easy identification upon receipt. Failure to do so will cause a delay in processing your return for a refund. If your item is not in its original condition your refund request may be declined or Only a Partial refund will be approved if the following occurs:
- Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
No refunds or returns will be accepted after 30 days. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, Tefco Trailers is not liable for lost or damaged goods returned via any freight companies. Please consider when returning goods via freight/post its tracking capabilities and or insurance for ease of tracking your item should it be misplaced.
Refunds
Upon receipt of your item, we will email you to notify it has been received. Once the inspection has taken place, we will contact you with the outcome of your refund. If your refund is approved it will be processed, and a credit will be issued to the original payment method used within 7 days of the approval and a remittance email as confirmation.
* Please note some credits can take longer than 7 days to appear in your account depending on your financial institute refund processing time.
If you haven’t received a refund within 14 days, please let us know and contact your financial institution to follow up. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us.

Shipping for refunds, returns & Exchanges.
You can return your item to Brisbane or Goulburn branch by dropping off your item or shipping your item direct to your nearest branch. Prior to shipping, please contact us at 1300 TEFCO or email us at parts@tefco.com.au to obtain a reference number.
